The Extreme Replacement Flap is a tinted single flap that has 2 sets of magnets along the sides and at the bottom to keep the door securely closed. Compatible with Extreme Dog Fence Pet Doors, our Extreme door flaps will keep your pet door securely closed again.
2 magnetic sealing flaps on both sides and also at the bottom provide even more energy efficiency by reinforcing the barrier that separates the weather outside from the temperature inside.

Very disappointed. None of the magnets on the frame matched up to the magnets on the flaps, allowing the wind to blow them in and out all the time. Both flaps broke off of 3 of fastened points in the frame, so they get stuck half in and half out when our dog goes through. Just in time for the cold. I will have to order replacement flaps because noone else makes this size. Although I was pleased with the look, it is definately not weather…or dog proof!!

I initially gave this product a one star review because I had the same problem as Tracey, above. My flaps at 5 months old, cracked at the 3 screws and wasn’t working as designed causing my dogs to not be able to use their door. I wrote a review, and within 24 hours had an email asking a couple of questions about which model I had, and 2 days later had a brand new set of replacement flaps at no cost. This company does stand behind their products. I think that do to the design, it will fail again, and would suggest that the manufacturer reenforce the area where the screws go through the flaps with something to make them more durable.

Purchased. A extreme XL dog door in November. Quality and installation was great. The flaps tore off over the winter use. Called support line today and company is replacing the faulty flaps. Great customer service. thanks

I was about to place a bad review for my second set of broken flaps when I saw the companies response to the one above. I called and “Rob” told me they had improved the flaps since my original order and would be sending me replacements for free that have reinforcements where they attach. Great customer service!

Original flap design was severely flawed in its attachment design…high school shop student could have thought it through better. A Plastic flap attached by 4 screws without reinforcement was a disaster waiting to happen. HOWEVER, upon failing after 3 mos of use, I contacted the manufacturer and was told that the flaps have been redesigned with a metal support at the connection point. They are sending me a set with the new design, so we shall see. 3 stars is for their willingness to correct the problem, otherwise i would be telling you to buy something else. Kudos for their customer support!

I am having some of the same problems as other people above where our flaps need to be replaced. They are warping and cracking. They are 18 months old, so pretty normal wear and tear for that amount of time, especially with Texas weather. I called the 1-800 number and what great customer service. I talked with a very knowledgeable and friendly customer rep named Darianne. She was amazing. I let her know what was going on and she helped me order exactly what I needed. Our ranch’s barn has living quarters and that’s what we and our 6 big dogs call home. After trying another brand that failed miserably we purchased an eXtreme brand XL. My husband installed the doggie door easily and the rest is history. With so much activity going through the door all hours of the day and night we have had to replace the flaps a couple of times. No complaints. Grateful for this company.
